Well it looks like we NFL lockout just might be over. Nothing is official yet but everyone in the media is reporting that all the major hurdles have been scaled. I am so excited! The guys on the radio have actually been talking football. When the NFL opens for business some time next week its going to be unprecedented madness. Teams will have like 72 hours to sign free agents (players without contracts) and then its training camp, then 2 weeks later the first preseason game! Unbelievable, we are going to go from no football to having it everywhere in a matter of days. Glory!! in twitter language #Ican'twait!
Stanley Cup update: It sounds like the Cup has had quite the eventful day. It was supposed to leave Logan at 8am to travel to Buffalo then be driven to Ontario, but its seems like the cup was checked into Logan a wee bit late. Horton's wife tweeted that the Cup was lost at first but then it was figured out that it just got to Logan late. The Cup did make it to its destination in Ontario, it was supposed to be in a parade with Nathan Horton and family but the parade went on with out it. Oh well I guess stuff happens, but I'm sure they were frustrated. It is sort of funny though. One hopes that Horton can have some of his time with the Cup made up. He deserves it!
